The Milwaukee Brewers look to bounce back from a loss in Game 2 of their National League Division Series against the Atlanta Braves when visiting Atlanta on Monday for Game 3. Milwaukee was defeated 3-0 in Game 2 as the Brewers collected only six hits and left eight runners on base. Milwaukee starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff suffered the loss after allowing three runs on five hits in six innings. Milwaukee will play without position player Carl Mathias and four pitchers.
Atlanta looks to win its second straight when hosting Milwaukee on Monday. The Braves were led in their Game 2 victory by starting pitcher Max Fried who threw six shutout innings while allowing only three hits and striking out nine. Austin Riley hit a solo home run for the Braves while Freddie Freeman and Ozzie Albies each had an RBI. Atlanta will play without position players Ronald Acuna Jr and Marcell Ozuna, as well as four pitchers.
