The Golden State Warriors head to Dallas to play the Mavericks on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET. Golden State (2-0) won both games at home including a blowout win in Game 1. Dallas (0-2) blew a 19-point lead and are now in a hole.

Warriors Look To Take Commanding Series Lead

Golden State already has a stranglehold on the series but now is looking to put Dallas on the brink of elimination on Sunday. In Game 2, it appeared the Mavericks would cruise to a series win but the Warriors outscored Dallas 68-45 to come back and win the game. They were led by Steph Curry who dropped 32 while Jordan Poole had 23 off the bench and Kevon Looney recorded a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson chipped in with 16 and 15 points, respectively.

The Warriors have been led by Curry in the playoff as he's averaging 26.8 PPG while Thompson and Poole are both averaging 19.5 PPG and Wiggins is chipping in with 15 PPG. Golden State is also shooting 49.4% from the field and 38.2% from three in the playoffs. This season, Golden State finished the year 53-29 and went 22-19 on the road and 33-19 against Western Conference teams.

Golden State will still be without Andre Iguodala, Gary Payton II, and James Wiseman.

Mavericks Look To Gain Momentum At Home

Dallas was on the verge of evening up the series against Golden State as they led 72-58 at the half and had a 19-point lead at one point of the game. Yet, their defense began to struggle and Golden State began knocking down threes while Dallas' shooting went cold. In the game, they were led by Luka Doncic who dropped 42 while Jalen Brunson had 31 and Reggie Bullock chipped in with 21.

The Mavericks went 52-30 this season including going 29-12 at home. This year against Golden State they went 3-1 including winning both games at home. In the playoffs, they have been led by Doncic who is averaging 31.4 PPG while Brunson is averaging 22.9 points and Spencer Dinwiddie is averaging 12.9 PPG. They are also shooting 44.8% from the field and 37.9% from three.

Dallas will be without Tim Hardaway Jr.
