The Bobcats have not quite found their form this season. They have fallen to a 2-5 record, including two straight defeats in their last two games. Their previous result was a 28-16 defeat against Georgia State.
As reported by AP: Brady McBride completed 27 of 47 passes for 255 yards for Texas State (2-5, 1-2). McBride's 8-yard touchdown run pulled the Bobcats to 14-13 in the second quarter.
Brady McBride has passed for 1,507 yards along with 12 touchdowns. The team has passed for 215.3 yards per game, which ranks them 81st nationally.

Louisiana in fine form, with six straight winsSeason form
The Ragin' Cajuns began their season with a 38-18 defeat against No. 21 Texas. They have then recovered with six straight wins to move to 6-1 for the season. In their previous game, they beat Arkansas State 28-27.
According to the Associated Press, Johnson and Smith scored all of the Ragin' Cajuns points as Louisiana-Lafayette (6-1, 4-0 Sun Belt Conference) rolled for 424 rushing yards. Johnson, who gained 150 yards, had scoring runs of 99 and 3 yards. Smith scored from the 6 and added a game-winning 74-yard touchdown run.
Levi Lewis has passed for 1,427 yards with eight touchdowns so far. They have been excellent on the ground but not in the air: they have passed for just 210.9 yards per game, which puts them 87th nationally.
