The Tampa Bay Buccaneers make their way up the east coast to kick off Week 6 as they invade Lincoln Financial Field to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. The Buccaneers (4-1) are coming off a 45-17 convincing win at home against the Dolphins as 11 point favorites. The Eagles (2-3) came away with a huge 21-18 road win against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The Buccaneers open up this Thursday game as seven-point road favorites.
Brady and Bucs Trounce DolphinsQuarterback Tom Brady threw for 411 yards and five touchdowns as the Buccaneers easily dispatched Miami 45-17 on Sunday afternoon. Antonio Brown showed no signs of slowing down as a playmaker, becoming the fastest NFL player to 900 receptions after catching seven passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns. 'I take so much inspiration from Tom. As a professional, as a leader, making sure that I'm doing my job, making sure that all the other 10 guys are doing their job,'' said Brown to Associated Press reporters after the game.
Mike Evans had TD catches of 34 and 22 yards, and Giovani Bernard also scored on a 10-yard reception from Brady, who finished 30 of 41 with no interceptions - the third straight game the Bucs have gone without a turnover. It was an impressive showing against a Miami team that routinely gave Tom problems when he was with the Patriots. Expect a different type of effort from a Philadelphia squad on a short week and coming off an emotional win on the road against Carolina.
Hurts Leads Philly to VictoryJalen Hurts took matters into his own hands, running for two second-half touchdowns on Sunday as the Eagles battled back from a 12 point deficit to defeat the Panthers 21-18 and ending a three-game losing streak. Carolina's defense controlled the tempo for most of the game and kept Hurts in check, but the momentum began to slip away late in the third quarter when he connected on a 53-yard pass to Quez Watkins to set up a 1-yard TD run. Hurts finished with 198 yards on 22 of 37 passing and ran for 30 yards on nine carries, while DeVonta Smith had seven catches for 77 yards and a 2-point conversion for the Eagles who improved to 2-3.

Sam Darnold had his worst game since joining the Panthers, as he was intercepted three times including twice by Darius Slay. Darnold was sacked three times as Carolina managed just 267 yards against an Eagles defense that allowed 83 points and 851 yards in its previous two games. It was an impressive showing for Philly, who now has to face the timeless Brady
